Instructions for Accessing the Joint Individual Augmentee Training (JIAT) Program

The JIAT program is posted on the Joint Knowledge Online (JKO) portal of the Army Knowledge Online/ Defense Knowledge Online (AKO/DKO) website so you must register for and obtain an AKO/DKO account if you do not already have one. To register for an account, go to http://jko.jfcom.mil and follow the prompts.

Once you have your account:

1. Go to http://jko.jfcom.mil

2. Click the button "Enter JKO". You will be directed to the AKO/DKO login page.

3. Login using your AKO/DKO username and password or Common Access Card (CAC).

4. Click on the button labeled "JIAT/JTF". The system will take you automatically to the Joint Individual Augmentee/Joint Task Force Communities of Interest home page.

5. Click on the icon (or link) for the operational area as defined in your Individual Augmentee (IA) orders: Afghanistan, Afghanistan/ISAF, Horn of Africa or Iraq.

7. Contact the JKO Help Desk, JKOhelpdesk@hr.js.mil, DSN (312) 668-5654, comm (757) 203-5654 for technical assistance.
